Obituary of Charles Lloyd Jones, Sr

Charles Lloyd Jones, Sr, 74, of Louisville, KY passed away on October 14, 2019.  He enjoyed singing with his band The Majestics and karaoking with his friends at Checks Café.  Charles never met a stranger and was an avid UK fan.

He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Jones, Jr; brother, Bobby Jones and his parents, James and Marie Jones.

Charles is survived by his children, Denise (Robert) Wright, Barbara Robnett, Sherry (Torry Churn) Jones and Terry (Zuelema) Jones; 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred Jones, Phillip Smith and Tim Smith; sister, Shirley Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, October 21, 2019, from 2pm-6pm at Neurath & Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, KY with a celebration of Charles’s life beginning at 6pm.
