Obituary of George Thomas Stinson

George Thomas Stinson, 66, of Louisville, KY passed away on October 14, 2019.  He was in charge of maintenance at Broadleaf Arms Apartments for many years working alongside his brother, Kevin.  George enjoyed going to Nolin Lake, fishing and hosting family gatherings and cookouts. Spending time with his granddaughter, Lucy, meant the world to him and she was the apple of his eye. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alford and Helen Stinson.

George is survived by his sons, Chris Stinson and J.D. (Tiffany) Stinson; granddaughter, Lucy Stinson; brothers, Timothy (Darlene) Stinson, Sr and Kevin Stinson, Sr; sister, Sandra (Dennis) Fambrough; nieces and nephews, Tina, Timothy, Jr, Tara, Keith, Kevin, Jr and Bo; several great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 19, 2019, from 12pm-8pm at Neurath & Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, KY.  A celebration of George’s life will be Sunday, October 20, 2019, beginning at 1pm at the funeral home.
