Obituary of Donald Eugene Burnham

Donald “Duck” Eugene Burnham, 54, passed away on Saturday September 28, 2019.

He was born on October 31, 1964 in Phenix City, Alabama and was an avid University of Auburn Fan – He is now soaring with the Eagles. Which we know he is loving.  Duck loved tinkering on cars, fixing up old watches and clocks. He really enjoyed making jewelry for family members.  He also took great pride in building model planes and cars.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Burnham. He leaves behind many memories for his mother, Betty West Hamilton of Phenix City, AL;  two brothers, Rodger Dale and Jackson Wardell Burnham of Louisville Ky.  His two daughters, Brittany and Shelby Burnham of South Bend, Ind and a grandson, Sebastian.  He also leaves two nephews, Travis (Krysten) and Colton Burnham and two nieces, April Nicole and Paige Elizabeth Burnham. He also had 3 great nephews and 1 great niece who all loved their Uncle Duck very much. Duck was loved by many and leaves wonderful memories of being a GREAT friend to all.

A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at Hurstbourne Christian Church in Schiphorst Fellowship Hall. 601 Nottingham Parkway on Saturday October 26th at 1 pm. Please bring a dish and join us in sharing memories with a luncheon.
