Allen D. Boykin, 89, of Vingerbend, AL, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Neurath and Schoppenhorst Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care.
Allen was born on April 16, 1930. He held many jobs throughout his life and retired as a city worker in Vingerbend.
Allen is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Mae Boykin, son, Greg Patton, and mother, Ora Boykin.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Patricia Singleton and Michael Patton (Kathy Brown); grandchildren, Ashley Davenport, Katlyne Douglas, Darnesha Singleton, Tamykel Patton, and Kyle Patton; great-grandchildren, Necole Walker, Kaleah Thompson, Juwan James, Harmoni Grant, and Joshua Grant, Jr.; and nephew, Jack Boykin.
