Obituary of Michael F. Hopper

A funeral service for Michael Hopper, 52, of Louisville, KY will be Tuesday October 30, 2018 at 1 PM at Neurath & Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market St., Louisville KY.  Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 AM until time of service at the funeral home.  Michael passed away October 28, 2018.

Michael loved deeply and his favorite things was being with those he cared about most.  He had a smile that could light up a room, had a great sense of humor, and love to flirt.  He loved country music, playing opossum, and 3 Musketeers bars.  Michael had a life that mattered and gave everyone’s life that touched so much meaning and purpose.  We know he is smiling down now saying “Love ya, honey”.

Michael is survived by John & Jenny Mattingly, Jeremy, Sherry, Krysti (John, Alessa, Michael), Emilie (Cory, Lexie, & Mila), Johnny (Katelyn) and the rest of his loving family of 16 years, his sister, Lisa Giammerino, extended family, and many other friends who loved him deeply at Tri-Generations, Centerstone, Kaleidoscope, and throughout the Louisville area.
