Obituary of Martha Josephine Brown

A funeral service for Martha Josephine Brown, 82, of Louisville, KY will be Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11 AM at Neurath & Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market St., Louisville, KY.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, KY.  Visitation will be Sunday from 3 – 7 PM and Monday from 9 AM – 11 AM at the funeral home.  Martha passed away October 24, 2018 at her residence with her loving family at her side. 

Martha was born May 3, 1936 in Central City, KY to parents Talmadge and Nettie Gregory.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James E. Brown, and son Donald R. Brown.   

Survivors include her children: James D. Brown, Joseph W. Brown (Denise), Deborah J. Hugo (Wayne), Karen L. Dawson, Roy E. Brown, Ronald L. Brown, and May I. Norton (E.J.); sister, Gracie L. Keen; 17 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.
