Obituary of Kenneth Rhae Crowdus, Sr.

A funeral service for Kenneth Crowdus, Sr., 64, of Louisville, KY will be at 12 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Greater Bethel Star Church, 2244 W. Jefferson St. Louisville, KY.  Visitation will be on Saturday, from 10 AM – 12 PM at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Neurath & Schoppenhorst Funeral Home. 

Kenneth R. Crowdus, Sr. was born December 28, 1953 in Louisville, KY.  He departed this life early on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at his home in peaceful surrender to God’s heavenly angels.  His is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Gloria Crowdus, Sr.  On August 18, 2010 Kenneth was joined in holy matrimony to Wanda Whittaker – Crowdus.

Kenneth was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend to everyone he came in contact with.  He was passionate about his love for God and making everyone he came in contact with laugh.  Kenneth was affectionately referred to as Papa, Grandpa, Kenny, and Big Brother Almighty by his loved ones. 

Kenneth was a proud Marine, devoted truck driver, and a jack of all trades. His favorite outdoor sports were fishing and hunting.  Kenneth was a nature lover who appreciated Gods work on Earth and in the Universe.

He was loved by many and his legacy will forever be cherished by his loving family and friends. 

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Wanda Crowdus; children, Kenneth Crowdus, Jr. (Maria), Brian Crowdus (Mona), Venus Crowdus, Joseph Crowdus, Kaylynn Adkins (Brad), and Antwan Crowdus (Shoni); step-children, Amber Whittaker (Bobby) and Nathan Whittaker; siblings, Walter Crowdus III, Terrye Bennett, Shon Crowdus, Sr., Judy Bennett, Henrietta Ross, Rhonda Crowdus, Juanita Griffin, Andrae Kirby, Sr., Tina Edmonson, Kevin Crowdus, Hope Crowdus – Shellon, Gretta Howard, and April Williams, and 21grandchildren
