Obituary of William R. Nethery

A funeral service for William R. Nethery, 85, of Louisville, KY will be Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11 AM at Shawnee Baptist Church, 2214 Bank Street, Louisville, KY.  Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, KY.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4 – 8 PM at Neurath & Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market St.  He passed away September 3, 2018. 

William was born May 21, 1933 in Mt. Eden Kentucky to parents Earl and Lillian Nethery.  He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lucille (Sissy); and nephews, Timothy Watts and Greg Watts. 

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a truck driver and tree trimmer. 

William is survived by his wife, Kristie Nethery; step children, Kassie Brinley, Allen Brinley, and Kellie Brinley; nephew Camron Bell; and sister-in-law April Bell.
