Mack Marzette

Obituary of Mack C Marzette

Mack Carl “Mike” Marzette aka Michael, was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 5, 1959 to the union of Jasper Marzette, Sr. and Willie Pearl Adams.  He is preceded in death by his father, and sister, Janice M. Marzette.

Mack graduated from Southern Hill High School in 1977, where he majored in wood shop and art.  He later studied automotive mechanics and was  known to be the family and neighborhood mechanic, along with the host of employment and side jobs through out the years.  Mack was an avid University of Louisville sports supporter.  He was always the life of the party, who could win over a crowd with his dance moves; along with a bubbly and outgoing personality.  He enjoyed family and friends gatherings and spending quality time with his grandson.  Mack was a loving and supportive father and grandfather; being a grandfather was his biggest joy.  He also played a major role in the  lives of  his nieces and nephews, (known as the Wolf Pack)  that he treasured.  Being the resilient soul that he was, Mack won a fight against Cancer, but was faced with the battel once more.  He would always say “If they can treat it, I can beat it”  We was called home August 13, 2018.  We will all miss him, be we also must know that the battle is not ours, but the Lords, as Mack did.  So, we will celebrate his life, as he gets his rest.  We will always love him, but God loves him best.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Willie Pearl Adams; his former wife and life long best friend, Rhonda Crowdus; his daughter, Shannah McTier; stepson, Talmon Crowdus (Andrea); sister Tracy Williams (Dwayne); brothers, Raymond Marzette (Shelia), Willie Marzetter (Frances), Jasper Marzette (Denise), Lloyd Marzette and Tony Marzette; grandchildren, Darrion McTier, Jereal McTier, Trenten Malone, James “Tre” Robertson III, and Talmari Crowdus; six nieces, 10 nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
